How to play
Desktop
- Press the up arrow to accelerate and down to brake.
- Use the left and right arrows to steer.
- Hold A or Q for a left air brake, D or E for a right air brake — use these for sharp corners without losing all your speed.
- Race through each checkpoint before time runs out to finish the track.
Mobile
- Drag your thumb anywhere on the left half of the screen to steer, like a virtual joystick.
- Touch and hold anywhere on the right half of the screen to accelerate.
- Race through each checkpoint before time runs out to finish the track.
Game description
HexGL is a fast, futuristic anti-gravity racing game built with HTML5, JavaScript and WebGL (Three.js). You pilot a hovering ship around a neon cityscape track, picking up speed boosts, dodging obstacles, and trying to beat the clock across laps. Think F-Zero / WipEout style arcade racing, running entirely in the browser — no plugins, no install.
